Pixie Lott attends Dsquared2 store launch in red satin dress while Elizabeth Hurley plays it safe in plunging LBD

Pixie Lott has a rare fashion fail as she attends Dsquared2 store launch in unflattering red dress while Elizabeth Hurley plays it safe in plunging LBD

She's celebrated for her ultra feminine personal style.
But Pixie Lott suffered a rare fashion faux pas when she attended the Dsquared2 store launch in London on Tuesday, arm-in-arm with her boyfriend Oliver Cheshire.
The 24-year-old singer appeared to be channeling a chocolate wrapper in her red satin minidress with its bizarre asymmetrical detailing.

While the outfit wouldn't have looked out of place at a Christmas party, it seemed a strange choice for the fashion bash, where guests were celebrating the opening of design duo's Dean and Dan Caten's new boutique.
The bold number boasted a structured, scooped neckline and a curved bodice, which did nothing to flatter the pretty star's petite figure.
Pixie upped the glamour with striking silver drop earrings and styled her hair in old Hollywood waves.

She set off the number with sparkly heels and an eye-catching leopard print bag, turning heads as she arrived alongside her handsome model partner Oliver.
Also making a statement at the event was Elizabeth Hurley, who stuck to what she does best in a skin-tight black dress.
Liz's plunging number flattered her figure and showed off an ample amount of cleavage.

She jazzed up the simple dress with a silver box clutch and, in a bizarre coincidence, the exact same pair of diamond-encrusted heels Pixie was wearing.
The 49-year-old's date for the evening was her friend, fashion designer Patrick Cox.
Also putting in an appearance at the party was presenter Laura Whitmore, who made a dramatic entrance in a mutli-coloured maxi skirt, and the likes of Topshop heiress Chloe Green and Made In Chelsea's Proudlock.

Meanwhile, Pixie recently confessed she'd like to get married to Oliver, but it won't be a while yet.
She told Marie Claire: 'I love small weddings in a different country, but I like massive ones in England, so maybe I'll have two.
'But I'm not thinking of getting married yet because I'm still so young.'
