Pixie Lott lights up Cannes screening of From The Land Of The Moon in fuchsia

Material Curl: Pixie Lott channels 80s Madonna as she lights up Cannes screening of From The Land Of The Moon in fuchsia

She's spent the past few months playing Holly Golightly on stage in Breakfast At Tiffany's.
But it looks like Pixie Lott may have been inspired by Madonna's Material Girl video as she arrived on the Cannes red carpet in a flurry of pink and curls.
The Essex-native, 25, was sporting a wild head of blonde curls, a slinky pink Dsquared dress and dazzling Chopard diamonds as she arrived at the screening of From The Land Of The Moon.

The former Strictly Come Dancing star clashed with the red carpet as she arrived on the arm of her model boyfriend Oliver Cheshire.
Oliver looked suitably dapper in a black suit and dickie bow as he left his girlfriend pose for the world's photographers.
Pixie and Oliver were in good company, with a host of stars in attendance at the screening, including Marion Cotillard, Petra Nemcova, Kendall Jenner, Vanessa Paradis and Aishwarya Rai.

The movie, a romantic drama, tells the story of a free-spirited women trapped in a loveless marriage who falls in love with a married man.
Meanwhile, Pixie has recently been playing Holly Golightly in the latest stage adaptation of the Truman Capote classic, which is set to transfer to London's West End in June.
The new production, adapted by American playwright Richard Greenberg, is based on Capote's original 1958 novella rather than the 1961 film version starring Audrey Hepburn as Holly.
Although Pixie has been in the role since it opened at The Curve in Leicester in March, before it went on tour, she's currently enjoying some time out.

Emily Atack and Georgia May Foote are sharing the role on the tour, while Pixie will open the show on the West End stage in June.
Pixie and Oliver have been dating since late 2010, but have shown no signs of settling down just yet.
She told Notion magazine last year: 'Honestly, people are obsessed with it! I don't know, I always get asked "when are you getting married?" As soon as I started going out with Oliver I was asked it, and I still get asked in it every interview.
'I don't know why that is, maybe it's just something that people want to hear about, I don't know. I think male celebrities probably don't get asked it as much.'
