Pixie Lott added a little sex appeal to her laidback lunch outfit on Wednesday, as she headed out with a male friend.

Now a regular spot in Hollywood, the British beauty blended in with the ultra-glamorous visitors at Chateau Marmont with her arrival.

She paired a backless leotard with her skintight jeans, daringly opting to go braless for the afternoon.

The stunner stuck to her retro statement style and matched a pair of red shades with vintage-style shoes.

Her companion was also accessorising in an eye-catching fashion when he added playful cat ears to a summer outfit.

They're the same cat ears that the lunch date was seen sporting when Pixie and her friend hit the town for Halloween this weekend.

On Saturday, as they were once again seen at the hotel, Pixie shunned the traditional blood-soaked vampires, zombies and devil costumes.

Instead, she dipped into the dressing up box for something more fun, pulling out a cat costume, complete with adorable bow tie.

The singer's costume was less scary and more sassy as she improvised with knee-high boots and a plunging blouse.

Though leather shorts may not be customary for a feline's four legs, the blonde made her costume idea clear by wearing velvet ears.

She also wore a bold, animal print to match her male companion, making yet more effort with drawn-on whiskers and glitter.

Pixie arrived in Los Angeles two days ago, having already had a busy few days with a red carpet appearance at the BAFTA Britainia Awards on Friday.

Though unaccompanied by her beau Oliver Cheshire, the stunning musician took the red carpet with confidence.

Pixie - real name Victoria Louise Lott - paired her relatively simple outfit with a pair of zany pink sliders with pearl detailing.

The singer toted her belongings in a small gold box bag and wore her platinum blonde locks scraped back from her face in a messy bun.

Opting for low-key make-up, the British beauty showcased her naturally pretty features as she chatted away on her mobile phone.

Pixie has been making the most of her time in Los Angeles, celebrating Halloween at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood last weekend and attending the BAFTA Britannia Awards.

Before jetting to America, the star enjoyed a well-earned holiday in Chania, Crete, with model boyfriend of five years, Oliver Cheshire, 28, after starring in the West End production of Breakfast At Tiffany's.

Pixie appeared in the production as Holly Golightly at the Royal Haymarket Theatre from June to September, but the role has now been taken over by Georgia May Foote.

The musical pair crossed paths as Pixie prepared to hand over the baton, and it seems that two actresses have really hit it off.

'I gave her my number,' the Mamma Do beauty told MailOnline when quizzed on how well they got on.

'We crossed over on the last couple of days because she was coming in to rehearse. It was great to finally meet her. She was excited and really lovely.'

Pixie and Oliver have been dating since late 2010, but the pair have no plans to take their relationship to the next level yet.

Speaking to Notion magazine last year, she said: 'Honestly, people are obsessed with it! I don't know, I always get asked "when are you getting married?"

'As soon as I started going out with Oliver I was asked it, and I still get asked in it every interview.

'I don't know why that is, maybe it's just something that people want to hear about, I don't know. I think male celebrities probably don't get asked it as much.'
