She rose to fame at the young age of 18 when social media was just beginning to take hold of the world.
But Pixie Lott has revealed that she longs for the days before the digital era when celebrities were able to retain a sense of mystery and their lives weren't broadcast over the internet. 
Speaking to Harper's Bazaar in a quirky quick fire questions round, the 25-year-old singer admitted that she would love to be stuck in a lift with Marilyn Monroe for that reason, as there's so much we still don't know about the iconic figure.

'I feel like she has so many secrets,' the star said. 'Back in those days the stars weren't as accessible. There wasn't Instagram or Twitter and you wouldn't know what they were doing.'
The Cry Me Out hitmaker has spoken about her desire to go on a social media blackout previously, but told the Mail On Sunday: 'My fans would be really upset if I stopped tweeting. So I guess a loss of mystique is a price I’ve had to pay.'
Pixie also revealed that she's been influenced by the likes of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, performing their hits Hero and One Moment In Time respectively as her go-to audition songs.

During the segment, the starlet also revealed her unsual party trick, an unbeaten record for staring competitions.

The talented songstress is currently taking on the role of Holly Golightly in the long awaited stage production of Breakfast At Tiffany's.
The play is based on Truman Capote’s original 1958 novella which was made famous by Audrey Hepburn in the classic 1961 film adaptation.
Breakfast At Tiffany's has been adapted for the stage by Tony and Olivier Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, Three Days of Rain), and contains memorable songs from the era as well as original music by Grant Olding (One Man, Two Guvnors).
