Pixie Lott dazzles in embellished gown before changing into army attire at VE Day party
NO ONE could accuse Pixie Lott of not sticking to the 1940s-themed at the VE Day 70: A Party to Remember concert last night.
The hitmaker oozed war-time glamour as she performed on stage at the star-studded event, to mark 70 years since the end of the Second World War.
With her blonde tresses curled into victory rolls at the front, the 24-year-old made sure all eyes were on her in a dazzling black dress.
The floor-length gown, complete with beaded detailing and sheer sleeves, made the most of the singer's slim frame.
Pixie looked far from daunted as she sang in front of more than 12,000, including veterans, at London's Horse Guards Parade.
Following her set, the British beauty dashed backstage to change into a typical army get-up from the '40s.
Her second ensemble saw Pixie dressed in a brown hat and shirt, dark tie and beige pencil skirt.
The Mama Do crooner reemerged in her costume to join both Rebecca Ferguson and Laura Wright, to sing a tribute to American group, The Andrews Sisters.
All three singer wore identical looks, including black heels, for their rendition of Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.
Rebecca, 28, later tweeted: "Awww well I absolutely loved tonight it was amazing, such a special event, the atmosphere was so good. Best gig I have done by far."
It appeared Pixie had fully got behind the celebration and was spotted heading home while waving a Union Jack flag at photographers.
With a lilac coat draped over her arm, the star looked much more casual in jeans, a white top and trainers.
